Kilmorey Lodge presents a sound option in that regard, blending comfort and value seeking respite. The location is conveniently situated within a 20-minute walk to the city center, while local shops are just around the corner, enhancing the overall experience. My room, although compact, was clean and tidy, featuring a comfortable double bed with modern decor. The velux window offered a unique perspective during rainy moments, creating a cozy atmosphere. Amenities such as wi-fi and tea facilities added to the convenience, although I noted the room's clutter could be optimized for space. The staff were friendly and responsive, addressing our request for an additional towel promptly. the electric kettle in the room provided a nice touch for those who enjoy warm beverages while unwinding. Kilmorey Lodge strikes a balance between cost and comfort. While it may not be expansive, it delivers solid value for those seeking a laid-back stay with essential amenities, making it a reasonable choice for travelers.
